Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give website owners information about how their site is being used.
Cookies can be "persistent" (remaining on your device until deleted or expired) or "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser).
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- To ensure our website functions properly
- To remember your cookie consent preferences
- To understand how visitors use our website (self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics)
- To improve our services based on usage patterns
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function properly. They enable basic functions like page navigation, secure areas access, and remembering your cookie consent preferences. The website cannot function properly without these cookies.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Stores your cookie consent preferences | 1 year |
Analytics
We use our own self-hosted analytics — no data is sent to Google, Facebook, or any other third party. Analytics data is stored exclusively on our own servers. When you give consent, we store a temporary session identifier and UTM campaign parameters in your browser's sessionStorage and localStorage (not cookies).
| Storage Key | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| analytics_session_id | PolicyTracker.eu | Groups page interactions into a single visit | Session (tab close) |
| utm_params | PolicyTracker.eu | Records which marketing channel brought you to the site (first-touch attribution) | Session / 1 year (localStorage) |
Marketing Cookies
We do not currently use any marketing or advertising cookies. No data is shared with advertising networks. This section will be updated if we introduce marketing tools in the future.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a minimal set of third-party services. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads, or any other advertising networks. The only third-party service that may set cookies is our payment processor, used only when you initiate a payment:
| Service | Domain | Cookies | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripe (payments) | .stripe.com | __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | stripe.com/privacy |
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

Browser-Specific Instructions
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online activity tracked. Currently, there is no universal standard for how websites should respond to these signals. We currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, but you can manage your cookie preferences using the methods described above.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our data practices. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
